A touch of France around your neck

May 8, 2010

My biggest fashion vice is neck-wear. Scarves, necklaces, collars, all shapes and sizes. The more innovative the design the more I can’t resist it. Which is why I was incredibly excited and honored to be approached by a design label in France that specializes in neck accessories, to do a feature on their pieces.

Marthe Aimé has grabbed a hold of the niche market of neck-wear accessories by evolving the shirt collar into a separate, stand alone entity. The women’s collection of pieces are gorgeous statements that can dress up any simple outfit into something wonderfully feminine and elegant, full of romantic whimsy. I am completely in love with the soft, fluttery chiffon pieces from their spring collection. They are perfect for dressing up a camisole, or wear one under your favorite blazer to give the illusion of wearing a chic blouse. Below are some of my personal favorites, but to view their full collection as well as their men’s pieces, please visit the Marthe Aimé website Their online boutique is also worth a gander if you’re interested in spicing up your wardrobe
